CND: Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament

CND is a well-known organisation that campaigns to bring an end to the nuclear weapons of Great Britain.

They are working to secure abolition of nuclear missiles on a global scale and wish to create genuine security for future generations.

CND is funded entirely by its members and supporters, which is why a solid web presence is so important to them - not only for campaigning, but also for raising vital funds.

CND started working with Joomkit on a migration and redesign of their existing website.

The old website resided on an out-dated version of the Joomla CMS, so the databases were migrated and Joomla's core article managment was dropped in favour of a sleek K2 integration, tailored to the clients needs.

The new site has a much cleaner look and feel and will continue to grow with the organisation due to increased flexibility and scalability in the CMS framework.
