Labour Behind the Label

Labour Behind the Label (LBL) is a migration story. An organisation that was already using a CMS courtesy of hard working staff but really needed to to take it beyond the box to create a bigger impact. With a little help from Joomkit we were able to utilise the technology they know they had but were time starved to understand and put to work.

Originally LBL had two Content Management Systems - one for web and one for their contacts database. Joining them up was simply a case of applying Occams Razor to the technology at hand. In particular they wanted to utilise campaign forms to create support for their garment and clothing workers rights and have these integrated into their database. The beauty of the solution is invisible to visitors: LBL can create custom campaign forms and mail blasts which are recorded against their contacts as activities. The infrastructure and technology are now stratgically aligned with their organisatioal aims.
